The Dandelion Killers

The Dandelion Killers formed on a rainy Wednesday evening when there was nothing to watch on television. The collaboration of the three musicians from Herefordshire produced great chemistry and made for one of the most energetic, powerful and exciting bands around. Armed with a huge and ever growing repertoire of catchy original material, the band's constant gigging has led to them being referred to as 'Veterans of the local circuit' and local shows never fail to pull in an army of dedicated, loyal and enthusiastic fans.

The last couple of years have seen the trio clock-up over 200 gigs, playing nationwide in various renowned venues in London (The Boarderline and The Marquee Club), Bristol (The Louisianna and The Fleece), Cardiff (Buffalo Bar and Zync), Oxford (Jericho Tavern) and Liverpool (Zanzibar), as well as organising mini tours throughout North Wales and the Midlands. Support slots with major names such as The Automatic and The Subways soon followed as well as playing along side other respected, signed acts like Neil's Children, Fortune Drive, Dartz, The Anomalies, The Mules and Attic Lights.

The band have featured on BBC Radio 1 and BBC 6 music shows and had regular air play and live sessions on BBC Hereford & Worcester. The Dandelion Killers have also had multiple appearances and praise in NME and other music publications. Having recently recorded at the legendary Rockfield Studios, (home of Queen, Black Sabbath, Supergrass, Motorhead, Oasis, Coldplay) the main focus is now on promoting new material and raising the band's profile.
